Responsibilities:

nnotProvide a positive representation of Carter&s;s Ace Hardware.nnotProactively assist customers in solving problems.nnotGreet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are n leaving the store.nnotPossess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.nnotEnsure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.nnotForward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.nnotPossess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.nnotAssist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing n every customer, every time.nnStore OperationsnnotAssist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.nnotAssist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.notAssist with maintaining back stock levels.nnotAssist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor n merchandise area.nnotAssist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.nnotAssist with merchandise resets through the store.nnotProvide assistance to Department Specialists, i.e. price changes, special orders.nnotEnsure signage is current throughout the store.nnotOperate forklift with proper training.nnotCommunicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up.nnotCommunicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to General Manager.nnotParticipate in store meetings.nnotBe professional in appearance and actions.nnotPerform all other duties as assigned.nnOther Essential Requirements:
nnEducation/TrainingnHigh School or GED equivalent.nnExperiencenFormal retail experience preferred.nnPhysical DemandsnStanding, walking, lifting up to 60 lbs.nnNotice to Applicant about this Employer:

Salary:
$14 per hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
