Sorrento, FL Sorrento, FL Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $80,000 a year $50,000 - $80,000 a year 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago Base Foreman - For Central Florida Job Locations The Base Foreman will be responsible for managing a Field Crew & Machinery to execute all aspects of Roadway, Parking Lot Construction, and Finish Grading for various Residential, Industrial, and Commercial Site-Work projects throughout the Central Florida market.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Coordination of Crew and Fleet of Machinery - Overall Crew and Site Operation Safety - Daily Equipment Upkeep, Reporting, and Communication with Fleet Staff - TopCon GPS Setup & Basic GPS Machine Troubleshooting - Weekly & Monthly Planning & Forecasting - Daily & Weekly Production Monitoring & Reporting - Daily Crew Timesheet Submission - Finish Grading of various projects - Punch Out Grading when Scheduling requires - Reduce Idle Time - Coordination with other Field Staff & Supervisors while on respective projects - Coordination with WLW Survey Team when needed - Communicate project needs with Project Management Team - Coordination with various Subcontractors - Concrete, Paving, Base Hauling, Prime & Sand - Schedule OEM Equipment Maintenance with WLW Office Staff - Meet / Coordinate with Testing & Geotech firms to ensure Project Conformance - Densities, Samples, Proctors, LBRs, etc.
- Communicate with WLW Project Management Team for various logistic needs - materials, equipment, aggregates, etc.
- Employee / Crew Review & Evaluation - Coordination / Communication with Ownership Field Staff / Representative as required - Coordination / Communication / Scheduling with Local Municipalities & Inspectors for various Inspections - All aspects of Roadway & Parking Lot Construction - Measure Areas for Material Requirements, Schedule as Needed - Proficient Motor Grader Operation, or provide Operator - Ensure ADA Compliance - Experience with Limerock, Crushed Concrete, Soil Cement, etc.
- Soil Stabilization / Mixing - Prepare / Grade for Inlets, Handicap Ramps, Sidewalks - Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) knowledge Desired Skills - TopCon GPS Experience - iPad Experience - Reporting & Timekeeping - Strong Leadership, by example with Positive Attitude - Desire to Teach - Team Oriented - Strong Communication skills - John Deere 672 Graders Benefits - Paid Vacation - Paid Holidays - Company Vehicle - Insurance Package - Health, Dental, Vision, Life - 401K with Match Salary Based on Experience Job Type:
